The Isle of Wight Council is a unitary county authority which is responsible for all the main functions of local government on the Isle of Wight.

The Council hold 15 out of 39 seats on the local authority. The Conservatives previously controlled the Council between 2005 and 2013, and again between 2017 and 2021. You can find out more about the Conservative Team on the Isle of Wight Council using the "People" link above.

The Leader of the Conservative Group is Cllr Ed Blake. Please get in touch with your local councillor if there is a council-related matter with which you would like assistance.
