The Isle of Wight is currently the largest parliamentary constituency in the country. Bob Seely was first elected as the Island's MP in 2017, and re-elected in 2019.
In 2024, the Isle of Wight will send two members of parliament to Westminster, the first time since 1832. Due to the size of the existing constituency, the island has been split into two constituencies: Isle of Wight East which covers Ryde around to Ventnor, and Isle of Wight West which covers Newport, Cowes and West Wight.
